Bruce Springsteen is no different than any other sports dad trying to help out the team’s fundraiser, except the items he submits for auction are substantially cooler.

To help raise money for the U.S. Equestrian Teams competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic Games, Springsteen has donated for auction a signed Fender guitar and Harley Davidson motorcycle. Per U.K. equestrian magazine Horse & HoundSpringsteen and wife, Patti Scialfa has been heavily involved with fundraising for the National Equestrian teams due to their daughter, Jessica Springsteen, being a competitive equestrian for a number of years. The auction will take place Friday, January 17 at Deeridge Farm in Wellington, Fla.

Springsteen told Horse & Hound, “Patti and I have been involved with the horse world for more than 20 years since Jess started riding when she was five years old. Our lives have been deeply enriched by our involvement in the riding world. I’ve gotten to watch my daughter grow up into a young woman of character and excellence. I’ve gotten to watch the best in the world compete year after year, and I know what that takes.

Scialfa said, “Helping this country’s equestrian athletes and supporting the US equestrian teams has become a family affair for us.”

As for Jessica Springsteen, it’s not known whether she will be competing in the 2020 Olympics, but Horse & Hound notes she has been a part of a number of Nations Cups teams that have represented the United States.
